Mom was proud of her Norwegian heritage.
She liked to tackle many projects while dad was working up the LINE. He came home to many surprises, she kept him on his toes.
She believed in hard work. She persevered with many challenges through the past few years.
One of her greatest accomplishments was returning to school. She graduated from Korah Collegiate, she then went on to attend Algoma School of Nursing. She and Wendie graduated together. Mom worked as an R.N. for many years at the Plummer Hospital. Janie and Tracy continued the family tradition of nurses. Mom enjoyed Mike's music-filled visits. She also enjoyed her phone calls with her son Stephen from Montreal.
No words can possibly express our heart-felt love for the staff and volunteers at ARCH, they became our friends and second family over the last few months. Your love for our mother will never be forgotten.
As mom would say "THANK YOU".
Mom- Go rest High on That Mountain. Your Work on Earth is Done.
LOVE YOU FOREVER.
