Beloved wife of John Muirhead for just shy of 70 years. Loving mother “Momma” of Catharine Muirhead, Shiela Brito (Don), Ian Muirhead (Maria), and Sylvia Oeschger (John). Proud grandma “Nana Beth” of Nadine, Emma, Derek, Spencer, Hyland, Martha (Josh), Rachel, Naomi, Sarah, Tobias, Anna, and Markus. Great grandma of Alleluia and Talitha. Reunited with her parents Bernard and Jessie Shiels. Beth will be missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was a proud member of St. Luke’s Cathedral for many years and enjoyed serving with the Altar Guild there. She had a love of animals and enjoyed time with her pets, including several dogs throughout her life. She was a kind person who liked to lend a hand anytime she could without seeking recognition.
Family and friends are invited to join at St. Luke’s Cathedral on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 12:00 pm for a funeral service for Beth. Following the service she will be laid to rest at St. Luke’s Columbarium. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to St. Luke’s Cathedral – Altar Guild or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
