Clair leaves behind his love, Christine. He will be dearly missed by his children Kyle, Rachel (Nick), Grace (Calvin) and several pets. Cherished Papa of his two grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents Loran and Laura King and his siblings Ron and Dale (Shirley). He will be missed by his foster sister Kim, sisters-in-law Paulette and Cynthia, his nephew Kevin, cousins and friends.
Family was extremely important to Clair. He was always excited when his grandchildren came to visit.
He explored several occupations but was the happiest woodworking and doing cabinetry. His other passion included the outdoors as he spent many hours hunting, fishing and flyfishing.
His creativity inspired others, and he always encouraged those with their creative expression.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors and nurses in the Sault Area Hospital ER and ICU.
As per Clair’s request, there will be no service or visitation. To honour Clair, spend time with your family, do something creative and enjoy your hobbies. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, Canadian Mental Health Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Big Brothers Big Sisters would be greatly appreciated.
