She is now reunited with her beloved husband Dick Pollard. Lovingly remembered by son Rick (Janet) and family and daughter Debby (Owen) Robinson. Proud Gramma of Emma (Jason) and Adam. Dear daughter of the late Harry and Dora Court. She is reunited with her siblings Linda Harriman (Richard) and Larry Court. Special Aunt Dee Dee of Heather and Mark (Grace). Doreen was so very grateful to be a part of and included in family events of the “Pollard Peas in a Pod”. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Doreen was proud to be a Registered Nurse, a member of the Desbarats Women’s Institute and a dairy farmer. During her life, she loved to volunteer for community events and charities.
The family would like to extend their thank you to the Nursing and Support Staff at Pathways Retirement Residence, and to the Air Ambulance Paramedic and Nurse for their care and compassion. Special thank you to Sue Doucette, her cardiac nurse for always going above and beyond.
Family and friends are welcome to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East, 705-759-2522) on Saturday December 13, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm for a time of visitation. A service will be held following at 3:00 pm with Pastor Curtis Gudrie officiating.
