Dorothy Jean Johnston

Daughter of Jim and Mabel White. Reunited with her husband and best friend of 63 years, Ian. Devoted mother of Jim (Dawna) and Bryan. Remembered by Rhonda. Proud Gmaw of Riley Crotta, Keith, Kyle, and Curtis. Great Gmaw of Maddy.

Predeceased by her brother, sisters and their spouses: Willis & Lois White, Eileen & Fred Clark, Verna & Jim Swan, Joyce & Mac McMillan and her In-law's Bill & Gaye Johnston and Ron Johnston. Survived by her In-law's Janice & Bob Dool.

Mom was born in Prince Township, and during her teenage years chased down Dad and soon became his ‘little Red Wing’. She was a fierce competitor in cards and all things sports. She ice skated and roller bladed well into her 70’s. All her life, Mom was a dedicated member of the UCW at Willowgrove United Church. Mom and Dad spent many years touring in their motorhome in many spots, returning often to their favourite Pancake Bay. Following Dad’s passing, Mom embraced a new life participating in activities with her new ‘family’ at Harbour View.
