Elmer Eino Maki

MAKI, Elmer – Peacefully passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday October 27, 2013 at the age of 86 years. Son of the late Ada and late Jelmer Maki. Brother of Miriam Marsh (late Dale), late Fanny Maki, late Joy Lomas and Edna Smith (Eric). Father of Lynn Maki of Cremona, Alberta, late Linda Shewfelt (Doug), Wendy Dumais (Ray), Wendel Maki, Pam Ayers (Roy), Tim Maki, Gary Maki, and Tammy Comegna (Arturo). Grandfather of Jason Shewfelt (Rachelle), Jamie Shewfelt (Shannon), Jennifer Shewfelt (Dave), Darryl Dumais (Tara), Melissa Dumais, Daniel Ayers (Sarah), Ana Ayers (James), Leandro Ayers, and Luca Comegna. Great grandfather of Danielle and Lindsay Shewfelt, Chloe and Alisha Shewfelt, Caleb Shewfelt, Emmett and Graeme Dumais. Elmer will be remembered by the children’s mother Anna Maki. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 7-9pm. There will be no service. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
