Elsie Elizabeth Lalonde

Elsie went to join Andy on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Extendicare Maple View, at the age of 86.

Beloved wife and dearest companion of the late Andre Jean-Marc Lalonde. Later in life, dear companion to the late Gilles Nadon.

Cherished and only daughter of the late Eva and Alphons Swinne. Daughter-in-law of the late Aurore and Joseph Xavier Lalonde.

Predeceased by her in law siblings, Jeanne D'Arc Cossette (Louis), Windsor/Burlington; Margaret (Arthur) Bamber, Windsor/Toronto; Roger (Theresa) Lalonde, St. Charles; Joseph Lalonde (Elaine), Windsor; Carmen Reardon/Guthrie, and husbands Ozzie Reardon, Ronald Guthrie, Sault Ste. Marie; Paul Emile Lalonde (Cora) Windsor.

Dear aunt of many. Special aunt of Claudette and Disma Yanni of Sault Ste. Marie. Elsie would also say, "the wonderful nieces and nephews of the Lalonde family."

As per Elsie's wishes, a Graveside service at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Brantford, Ontario (388 St. Paul Ave) at 11 am on Monday, September 22, 2025. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation which will benefit yourself and the community at large (a charity of your choice — cancer, heart, etc.). Elsie's hope is that you remember both her and Andy's wish...that you stop and take a moment from your day to do a good deed for your family or fellowman.
