MACDONALD, Hannah Bertha Nora (1919 – 2013) – Peacefully on the morning of Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Extendicare Maple View at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Don MacDonald. Nora moved to British Columbia as a young adult and lived most of her life with her husband Don in a log home that they built themselves. She was one of twelve children born of Della and Albert McAuley of Goulais River, Ontario. She is survived by her sister, Lyla Maybee-Thurston of Sault Ste. Marie. Nora's siblings include the late Lorna (Ted), Inez (Aime), Ornal (Vi), Elwin (Connie), Verna, Dolly, Ray, Norene and Arlene. Nora had a home in Goulais River and enjoyed her birds, squirrels and chipmunks that surrounded her beautiful home. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews who reside throughout Canada and the U.S. A private family funeral service was held. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
