HICKS, Howard E. (Howie) – Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital (Plummer Site) on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 with his wife by his side after a short and sudden illness. Beloved husband of Marilyn and the late Dorothy. Dear father of Pamela McWatters. Grandfather of Kristen and Katie McWatters of Mississauga, Ontario. Son of the late Geoffrey and Isobel Hicks. Brother of Thais McMillan and the late Shirley Trotter (Douglas). Uncle of Debra Kohlsmith, Kevin Trotter and Alexis McMillan. Fondly remembered by his step children Dan Hicks (Laurie), Kevin Hicks (Jackie) and Patti Hall (Art Gagnon). He will be greatly missed by his constant companion Casey Boy. He touched many lives through his friends and associates from Algoma Steel, Soo Pee Wee Hockey Association and Clear Lake, just to mention a few. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, December 23, 2010 from 1 pm until time of service in the chapel at 3 pm. Rev. John Wilson officiating.
