SCAGEL, Iona Merle (nee O’Donnell) – Peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home on her 95th birthday, November 12, 2013 with family at her side. Beloved wife of the late Arthur James Scagel of 53 years. Devoted mother of Dixie Sproule (Ken), late David (late Theresa), Richard (Linda) and Susan Cousins (Bob). Proud grams of Robin (Steven), Mike (Lisa), Heather, Robert and David. Great gramma of Brittney, Nicholas, Jacob and the late Benjamin. Predeceased by parents Mary and Charles O’Donnell, sisters Hazel, Marigold, Mary, Eva and brothers Richard, Charlie and Ownie. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. At Iona’s request no services will be held. Cremation will take place followed by interment in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
