She will be incredibly missed by her grandson, sidekick and best buddy Maverick. They were inseparable for the last 13 years.
Left to mourn her and feel her missed presence is her daughter Susie Koehler (Boris) who she lived with in her last years. Her cat buddy Jesse was her favourite and rode with her on her cart for all their afternoon adventures.
Predeceased by her husband Herbert of over 48 yrs(2013). Mother of Carey (Carol) and mere of Rhyanna, Shyanne and Riley Korschin, Max, Alexis Koehler (Oscar).Predeceased by her parents Leo and Evelyn Archambault from Blind River and her siblings Joyce (late Eugéne), Betty (late Pete), Lea (late Pete), Leo, John and Paul. Sister of Patricia Kosiek (Lary) and Lea "Manon" Nadon.
Memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to ARCH or an animal rescue of your choice would be appreciated. As per Irene’s wishes there will be no funeral service and cremation has taken place. Thank you to Dr. Woolner who gave mom exceptional care during her last days and the nurses on 3 especially “G” who was constantly checking in to make sure she was comfortable.
