It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James, with his wife by his side on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025, at the age of 67.
Loving husband and bestfriend to Anna (nee Jones). Father to Amy (Kurt) Rader and Jordie Belleau. Papa to Sadie Rader and Brody Trainor.
James is now reunited with his parents, James Sr. and Patricia Belleau and his two sisters Darlene (Keith) Marshall and Donna (late Elwood)(Vern) Robitaille. He is survived by his brother Ted (Trella) Belleau and his sister Theresa (Lee) Belleau.
Son-in-law to Stella and the late Edward Jones. Brother-in-law to the late Larry Jones, Jeff (Marissa) Jones and Matt (Candace) Jones.
He was the cool and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. He’ll be missed by many cousins and friends.
James was a special friend to Donald and Michelle Boissoneau, Stephén Hill, Randy Pine and Brent Hill.
A huge thank you to Dr. Apostle, the PSW from Maamwesying Denise and the Bayshore Nurses Lee and Cindy.

As per James’ wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Miijim Gaamig Food House (Garden River Food Bank) would be greatly appreciated.
