Jessie Christina McKay

McKAY, Jessie Christina - Passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Sault Area Hospital. Jessie was born on May 23rd 1994 to Judy and Mike McKay. During her 16 years on earth she touched many lives with her incredible strength and love. She will be missed deeply by friends and family and the sounds of Elmo and her laughter will live on forever in our hearts and memories.

God's Garden Must Be Beautiful:

God looked around the garden,

And found an empty space.

He looked down upon the earth,

And saw your tired face.

He put his arms around you

And lifted you to rest.

God's garden must be beautiful

For He only takes the best.

He knew that you were weary

And He knew that you would never

Be well on earth again,

He saw the roads were getting rough,

And the hills were hard to climb.

So He closed your weary eyelids,

And whispered peace be thine.

Jessie had so many friends and family in her life who loved and cherished her time here including her siblings Jason Brown (Tamara), Travis Brown (Alison), Lindsay Glass (James) and by her sister Brittany McKay who still bravely struggles with the same illness. Also loved by nieces and nephews Caleb and Keena Brown, Gwenyth and Jameson Glass; Uncles Perry Inch (Marnie) and family, Andy Inch (Michelle) and family, Chris Biron (Lynn) and family, and Aunt Lorie Gill (Dean). Pre-deceased by Grandparents Reta and Ralph Inch. Always loved by Grandparents Judy and Danny McKay and god-parents Elaine and Phil Morin. A private family service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank all the persons and organizations who have loved and supported Jessie and her family throughout the years.
