Lucie will be missed. She was a great nurse. Her humour and intelligence enlivened many gatherings. We send our condolences,  hugs and prayers.

Rest well, Aunt Lucie. I wish we lived closer and could be there to celebrate your life and your presence in ours. I remember sneaking this photo at the family reunion the last time we were all together, looking like we’d planned to match outfits (blue is clearly our colour, we’re cute as heck here), in a cabin jam-packed with Lamarches. You were someone I was always drawn to at family events growing up, always laughing, always smiling, always making sure we were fed and had games and weren’t making terrible kid decisions. Always quietly running the show. Thank you for the innumerable memories and the birthday cards that arrived well into adulthood. Even though we were across the country, I always knew you were there. Sending all my love to Uncle Terry, Brad and Kirsten, their families, and all the Lamarches.
