STONE NOKES, Marie – Surrounded by her family at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at the age of 91. Predeceased by her first husband Edward Stone and wife of Jim Nokes of Millersburg, Michigan. Dear mother of the late Dianne Reed (Clarence), late Donald Stone, Harry Stone (Susan) and Catherine Eno. Cherished grandmother of: Gary, Kelly, Tracy, Sarah, Christopher, Wanda, late Jeffrey James and Mandi-Marie. Great grandmother of nine and great great grandmother of one. Daughter of the late Ray and Daisy Rowat. Sister of Neil Rowat (late Rita) of Richards Landing and the late; Betty Stone (late Albert), Percival Rowat (late Annie), Bob Rowat (late Myrtle), Minerva Rains (late Leslie), Gordon Rowat (Marion) and Edith May Rowat. Daughter-in-law of the late George Stone and Ruth Henderson. Sister-in-law of Robert Stone (Wilma) and the late; Lillian Morden (late Mac), Margaret Stone, Gordon Stone (Ann), William Stone (Phyllis) and Doreen Shellhorn (late Jack). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, August 13, 2012 from 11 am until time of the funeral service in the chapel at 1 pm. Mary Frances Morden and Mr. Bruce Cain officiating. Cremation to follow, with interment at a later date in Richards Landing Cemetery.
