CORBIERE-AGAWA, Mark John-Peter - September 5, 2003 – September 13, 2025 - It is with profound sadness that we share the sudden and tragic passing of our beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, cousin and friend at the age of 22.
Mark was kind and gentle, funny and charitable, and honest in all that he did. Outgoing and empathetic, he carried himself with charm and warmth. He loved his family above all else, loved music, and never missed a chance for a good dance.
He will always be remembered as the only son, "only only son" and a treasured twin — a second half. He was a witty joker, a helping hand, and most of all the boy with the unforgettable big grin.
Mark and his siblings shared an unbreakable bond — a team that carried each other through all of life’s challenges and triumphs. He was both a brother and a best friend, and his absence leaves a hole that cannot be filled.
Beloved son of Marcia Corbiere (Dewayne Logan) and the late Mark Agawa. Treasured brother of Richard, Keesha (Jon), Raven (Shane), Jacob, Megan, Brittany (Drevon), Brianna, Marcia, Cierra, Faith and Hope. Proud uncle of Raiden, Ellicia, Shane, Amayah, Ryatt, Lennon and Emberlee. Predeceased by his grandparents late James Corbiere (Lila), Thelma Blackbird, Mary Agawa (Richard). Cherished great grandson of Jennie Blackbird. Mark will be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins. To his cousin Mya, he was “the bestest friend” anyone could ask for.
Family and Friends are invited at Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East; 705-759-2522) on Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. Service to take place at 12 noon. The loss of Mark has been tremendous and wholly unexpected. His deepest wish will be fulfilled as he will now lay to rest with his father in Batchawana Bay. A feast will follow from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Garden River Community Centre (Shingwauk St.). Memorial donation (payable by cheque or online) to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.arthurfuneralhome.com for the family.
The Corbiere-Agawa family would like to thank everyone who supported them and helped lay Mark to rest.
