MASSICOTTE, Maurice – Peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Stewart) for 19 years and the late Emily (nee Lesage). Loving father of Marcel (Marilyn), Mary Ann, Gerard and John (Pauline). Cherished grandpa of Marion (Jeremy), Jolee (Tim), Matthew (Amy), Marc (Katie), Melissa, late Felicity, late Clayton, Monique (Ugu), John Jr. (Cheri) and Meagan (Ben). Great grandpa of Jeremy Jr., Jessica, Emily, Matthew, Molly, Jacob, Chloe, Marc Jr., Devon, Malakhi, Jayden, Tyler and Lily. Great great grandpa of Kayden. Son of the late Nelson and Maryanne (nee Tessier). Dear brother of Marcel (late Denise), Guy (Louise), Norman (Rollande), Roland (Johanne), Jeannine Bergerons (Jean-Paul) and the late André (Denise). Brother-in-law of Pauline Lysight, Thomas (Gerry), Edward (Marie), Charles (Mary), Butch (late Pat)(Cheryl), Carl (Marg), Virginia (Brian), Olive (Renée), Opal (Doug), Arladiene (John), Angie (Sam), Freida (late Fred), late Mickey (late Val)(Roz), late Alden, late Lester (Dorothy) and late Rollie (Lorena)(late Judy). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Maurice was a retired steelworker for Algoma Steel. He worked there for 36 years and 7 months as a General Turn Foreman. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 10:30 to 12:30 pm. Memorial service from the chapel at 1 pm. Rev. Jean Pierre Couillard officiating.
