ROSE, Norman Eldon - Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Betty Rose for 70 years. Cherished father of Douglas (Jean), Murray (Cheryl) of Granger, Indiana, and Robert (Frances). Proud grandpa of Michael, Holly (Jeff), Graham (Amy), Joellen (Ben), Charles (Alex), Kathryn (Tyler), Melanie (Matt) and Thomas (Whitney). Loving Great grandpa of 14. Brother of the late Dorothy Harrison (late Bert), late John (late Mary), late Neil (Aura-Lee), late Bill (Jean), late June Gutcher (late Cliff), Roma Barber (late George), late Wanda Chikoski (Walter), Howard (Harriett), Joan Kennis (late Bob) Margaret Rayner (Ted) and Raymond Thorne (Beverly). Predeceased by his parents John and Irene Rose. Norman will be missed by his sisters-in-law Beth, Eleanor, Mildred and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service to take place at Central United Church on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 11 am with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating.
