To say I am shocked in an understatement.  Back in the late 60's and early 7o's Rod and I and all of the Fremlin family spent many many happy times together at the farm, the Do Drop Inn, The Vic, The Eastgate and the list goes on.  Rod played for the old Greyhounds when they were in the NOHA.  He was the most beautiful skater I have ever seen but they wanted him for another role which which didn't showcase his natural talents.  That was Jr. hockey in those days.  
I moved away and never got to meet Rod's wife and family but knowing him as I did, I am sure the love and laughter abounded.

To Tom, Vic, Jeff and Cindy I offer my deepest condolences.  To Rod's wife Cyndy and to his children I want to say your father was a great friend and one hell of a man,

To the Fremlin family

We are very saddened to learn about the passing of Rod.  He was a talented man with an amazing sense of humour, and it always was such a great time when talking with him.  The curio table  he built us 30 some years ago is a testament to him and his talents. 
Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.  We hope your happy memories of Rod will help you through the following days.
