Proud great-grandpa of Charlotte, Axel, Raelynn, Ezra, Beau, Valentina, Kaysen and Jacob. Brother of Henry Palahnuk (Sharon), Peter Palahnuk (Sandra), Frank Palahnuk (Mavis), late George Palahnuk (Mary), late Paul Palahnuk (late Anne), late Anne Garson (Bob) and late Wilma Garson (Glenn). Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Catherine Palahnuk. He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Stephen was devoted to his career as an A+ Millwright for 42 years. In his retirement, he greatly enjoyed spending his time at the casino. Stephen had a passion for gardening and playing darts. His love of darts brought him to many competitions, always meeting new friends and even having the honour of playing against a champion dart player from England. His love for his family was always evident. Some of his favourite things to do were playing golf with his son Chris and his grandsons or help his daughter Stephanie set up for her Equestrian competitions. His happiest moments were spent with his grandkids and great-grandkids. Their visits to their house in Goulais always meant the world to him. Stephen was fortunate enough to be the honourary taste-tester for his wife Janet’s cooking, whether it was perogies, cabbage rolls, or spaghetti, and even after all of his testing, he always found room in his stomach for sweets afterwards.
