

Anna was born on July 14, 1923 in Pittsburgh, Pa to John and Anna Tichi. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was a Communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church and was a devoted Catholic her entire life. She was an awesome woman who lived a long, full life and she will be greatly missed.
Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Milton H. Thornton, (Infant) Son, Sean Thornton and daughter, Judith (Thornton) Blackwelder. She leaves behind four children and their spouses, Robbyn and Mike Sims, Susan T. Cadle of Savannah; Bo and Crystal Thornton of Guyton and Cathy and David Berry of Charleston, S.C., brother-in-law, Gus Nedlick, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a brother and sister in law, George and Pat Tichi of Lebanon, Pa.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Fairhaven Funeral Home – Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Ga 31406.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m. Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with Father Jeremiah McCarthy, officiating.
Interment: Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
Remembrances may be made in Anna’s Memory to Hospice Savannah, and Blessed Sacrament Church.
