He was born in Jacksonville, Fla., and was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel E. Snowden, Sr., and Golden Thurston Snowden. He was also preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Cathy Marcella Vickery, of Norcross, Ga.
He was a veteran, having served in the US Navy, and was a member Calvary Baptist Temple.
He was the owner and operator of Snowdens Car Care Center.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy P. Snowden, of Savannah, Ga; a stepson, Gregory Lewis Dean, of Braselton, Ga, and 6 step grandchildren.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, at Fairhaven Funeral Home – Hubert C. Baker Chapel, in Savannah, Ga.
Graveside Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Green Hill Cemetery, in Buena Vista, Va 24416.
