

Donald Winton Driggers, 63, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at his residence after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Winton and Nell Dean Kicklighter Driggers. Donald was born and raised in Savannah and was a 1968 graduate of Jenkins High School. He was a sales associate for J. C. Lewis Ford for many years. He was a member of the Georgia Army National Guard and a member of Savannah Christian Church where he was active with the youth group. He also volunteered his time and talent in the church kitchen. He was best known as a people person. He never met a stranger. Donald was a loving husband, father and absolutely adored his three grandchildren; Gracson Scott Cooper, Dylan Winton and Kayla Elois Driggers. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 35 years, Linda Rosson Driggers; a son, Damon Winton Driggers; a daughter, Emily Dawn Driggers all of Savannah; a sister, Jan Driggers Joiner (Royce) of Pembroke, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation: 2 - 4p.m., Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Savannah Christian Church,(adult ministry building). Memorial Service: 4:00p.m. at the same location, with Rev Harrison Huxford officiating.
