

Helen Strudwick Taylor Jordan, 64, of Savannah, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014 at Hospice Savannah. She was born in Athens, Georgia, and was a Communicant of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, where she served on the Altar Guild. She worked for SCAD for over 13 years, and most recently worked at Harris Hall. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Michael Bruce Jordan, Savannah, GA; 2 sons, Michael Christopher Jordan, Savannah, Ga., and Clayton Marshall Jordan (Cristy) of Brooklet, GA; 2 daughters, Pamela Faye Jordan Hadden (Stephen), and Evelyn Elizabeth Jordan Gormley (James) both of Savannah, GA; 2 brothers, Creed Taylor, Jr., (Rosemary), and Joseph Clegg Taylor (Janet), both of Savannah, GA; and Evelyn Val T. Bostad (Dennis), of Wisconsin, 7 grandchildren, Stephen, Dalton, Ashleigh, Cierra, Alecia, Clayton, and Jameson; and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel. Graveside Services: 11 a.m. Saturday in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, with Father Richard Nelson, officiating.
