He was born in Key West, November 28, 1923; now residing in Savannah, Georgia, where he was active in bowling and fishing.
Howard joined the Army in 1941, saw action in Europe and Korea and retired as Master Sergeant in 1966.
He was married for 42 years to a very lovely girl, Virginia (Ginger) who preceded him in death in 2011. Howard was also preceded in death by his 2 brother and 2 sisters.
Survivors are two step sons, William and Brian; two step daughters, Peggy and Mary Ellen; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Entombment will be private at Arlington National Cemetery.
