

A Bulloch County native was a retired entrepreneur of Exxon Service Station in Savannah, GA.
He was a U.S.Army Veteran serving in WWII, Conflict Station in S.F. CA. from 1943-1946.
He was a graduate of S.E. Bulloch High in 1949.
He enjoyed Hunting and Fishing and was a member of the Lane Hunting Club.
He is preceded in death by his parents Alonzo and Laura Byrd Lanier of Brooklet City, GA.; granddaughter, Jessica Stevie Lopez; five brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Margaret Waters Lanier of Savannah, GA.; two sons and two daughters, Archie (Patrice), Rusty (Jill), Lynne (Justo) Lopez, Michelle (Damon) Leopold, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Remembrances: Alzheimer’s Association or Hospice Savannah, Inc.
Visitation: 6 – 8 pm Friday at Fairhaven Funeral Home Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
Graveside Service will be 11 am. Saturday December 20th, 2014 at Brooklet City Cemetery in Brooklet, GA.
