She was born in Savannah, Ga., and was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Daisy Crosby Moore.
Joan worked as a Secretary for Coastal Georgia Comprehensive Academy, until her health failed her. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church, and a former member of Morningside Baptist Church, until the church closed.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Felicia Reynolds Lawson and Michael Lawson of Savannah, Ga; and her sister, Patricia Moore Overstreet of Biloxi, Mississippi.
Visitation: 5- 7 p.m. Wednesday at Fairhaven Funeral Home – Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Thursday in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with Rev. Bill Black, officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
