Lee B. Spearman

Mr. Lee B. Spearman, age 90, passed away early Wednesday at Abercorn Rehab. He was born in Quitman, Georgia and moved to Chatham County at a very young age. He graduated from Savannah High School in 1941. Mr. Spearman was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving during WWII. He worked with American Oil Company as a welder for thirty five years before retiring in 1983. Mr. Spearman was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching sports. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Hughes Spearman, and his son, Donald Spearman.

Survivors include his son, Curtis Spearman of Pooler; two grandsons, Alan Spearman of Rincon, Ga. and Brett Spearman of Springfield, Ga.; and one brother, Alvin Spearman of Stillmore, Ga.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 until 6:00 P.M. at Fairhaven Funeral Home.

Interment in Bonaventure Cemetery will be private.
