

Lillian Wilson, 80, of Savannah, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, retired, CSM Eugene Wilson who passed away in 2006.
Lillian was born in New River, FL and grew up in Starke, FL, where she attended local schools and graduated high school there. Lillian and her husband traveled extensively during his military career in the US Army. They retired in Savannah in 1976. She was a former member of 1st Jerusalem Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess. She was a very active member of Christ Memorial Baptist Church.
She is survived by four sons; Thomas Wilson (Vickie), Gerard Wilson, Jonathan Wilson (Rebecca), and Sean Wilson (Patrizia); a sister Beverly Clark; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 1, 2015 at Christ Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Broxton officiating.
Burial to follow the service in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
