Marceline T. Miller

Ms. Marceline T. Miller, age 93, passed away Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013 under the care of Island Hospice surrounded by her family. She was a longtime resident of Savannah and was a member of St. Francis of the Islands Episcopal Church. Ms. Miller retired from Southcoast Medical Group after thirty five years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and also loved to read. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry A. Miller and her great granddaughter, Kayla Leigh Smith.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Harriett Miller (Joseph) Dillon; her son and daughter-in-law, Glenn E. (Sandy) Miller, all of Savannah; her grandchildren, Heather (Tony) Handy, Brent(Jaime) Miller, Mary Starr (Phil) Kinard, Tad Dillon, Stephanie Leigh (Brian) Smith; fourteen great grandchildren; her sister, Mary Riggins of Waycross, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Ms. Miller will be held Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at St. Francis of the Islands Episcopal Church with Father Conrad White officiating.

Interment will be in the St. Francis Memorial Gardens.

A reception will immediately follow the services.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Francis Memorial Garden or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
