Margaret Louise Swann

Margaret S. Swann, 86, of Savannah, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2014 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy R. Swann, of Winston-Salem, NC She was born on February 23, 1928 in Baltimore, MD. She and her family move to Savannah in 1964 and were residences of the Historic District for 47 years. She was retired from Savannah Bank and Trust as personnel director for many years. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Edwin J. Swann; a daughter, Jacqueline L. Swann; a grandson, Preston Swann (Angela); two great-grandchildren, Kalie McKenna Swann and Garrett McKhi Swann all of Savannah, GA; a daughter in law, Joan Wilkins of Winston-Salem, NC; a grandson, Lyle Swann of San Francisco, Calif.; a sister, Angela S. Serio of Timonium, MD; a brother, Roy Schissler (Maryanne) of Glen Rock, PA; several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Friday October 10, 2014, at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with a Rosary Service at 7:00pm Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am, Saturday, October 11, 2014 at The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist with Fr.
