Martha "Betty" "Betty" Smith

She was born in Savannah, GA, and was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Anthony Smith, Sr., and Stella Etta Ham Smith; brothers, Walter Anthony Smith, Jr., (Ann), and James Allan Smith, John Daniel Smith, and a nephew, Thomas Daniel "Danny" Smith.

She was a graduate of Armstrong Junior College in Savannah, GA.

She was retired from Great Dane Trailers, after 44 years of service, as an Administrative Assistant, and Payroll Supervisor.

She was a member of Delta Chi Sorority, a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and the United Methodist Women.

She is survived by 2 nephews, Walter Allan Smith "Rocky" of Jefferson, GA; and Frank Lee Smith (Sherry), of Sugar Hill, GA; a niece, Helen Elizabeth "Betty" Sadler (Jim); a sister-in-law, Annette Smith, and two nieces, Andrea Smith, (David) and Heidi Poore, (Jerry); two nephews, John Daniel Smith, Jr., and Eric C. Smith, and several great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation: 4 - 7 p.m. Friday at Fairhaven Funeral Home - Hubert C. Baker Chapel.

Graveside Services: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, in Bonaventure Cemetery, with Rev. Enoch Hendry, officiating.
