Mr. Michael Edward Butts

Mr. Michael Edward Butts, 62, passed away on April 1, 2013 at his residence under the loving care of Hospice Savannah. He was formerly employed by Georgia Ports Authority and also owned Butts Lawn Care Landscaping. Mr. Butts was a loving foster parent for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hopp and Vera Butts; son, Michael Butts, Jr.; and brother, Albert Butts.

Survivors include his loving wife, Pamela Butts of Thunderbolt, GA; two daughters, Marcia Butts Martin (Patrick) of Atlanta, GA; and Mia Butts Williams (Jonathan) of Atlanta, GA; one brother, Gregory Butts of Atlanta, GA; one sister Marilyn Butts Hill of Atlanta, GA; two grand children, Colin Martin and Jonathan Williams both of Atlanta, GA; several nieces and nephews; and most special friend, Marshall Cobham, stuck closer than a brother who shared the most precious gift of all, the hope that Jehovah holds out for all those asleep in death.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel with Brother Calvin Shell and Brother Lester Butler officiating.
