

Mr. Petro “Pete” George Consos, Jr., age 77, of Richmond Hill passed away Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was a native and longtime resident of Savannah. Mr. Consos was a 1956 graduate of Commercial High School where he was a member of the Cobra Club. He was in the United States Naval Reserves and his unit was mobilized during the Berlin Crisis. Mr. Consos was an Engineer with the Savannah Fire Department retiring in 1998 after twenty four years of service. He was a co-owner of Little Caesars in Rincon, Ga. and was member of the First Baptist Church of Richmond Hill. Mr. Consos enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of fifty four years, Helen Jeanette Consos of Richmond Hill; one daughter, Connie Consos (Billy Giles) of Garden City; one son, Stephen P. Consos of Rincon; two grandchildren, Ethan X. Consos and Asher E. Consos, both of Rincon; one sister, Patricia Walton of Atlanta; nieces and nephews, Guerry D. Wise, Tiffany Flowers, Cindy Harsh, and Chuck Boulineau; one aunt, Marie (Gary) Smith; one uncle, Elton (Martha) Mitchell; and several cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 13, 2015 from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.

Interment will be in Hillcrest Abbey East.
