Robert (Bob) Emory Stephenson

Robert (Bob) Emory Stephenson, 69, died on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 after a long battle with cancer. Bob was born May 27, 1944 in Athens, Georgia. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a Masters Degree in Pharmacy and worked for 36 years as a pharmacist for Memorial Health University Medical Center. He was the president of the Georgia Society of Health System Pharmacists and served 5 years on the Georgia State Board of Pharmacy. Bob was an active member of the Wilmington Island United Methodist Church.

Bob is survived by his wife of forty years, Connie L. Stephenson; his daughters, Libby Prestipino (Tony) and Amanda Herin (Jerry).

Visitation will be held Friday, November 1, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Wilmington Island United Methodist Church, 195 Wilmington Island Road.

Services will be held Friday, November 1, 2013 at 11:00 AM Wilmington Island United Methodist Church, 195 Wilmington Island Road.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wilmington Island United Methodist Church.
