Al (John Albert) Laffan, age 93, of Toronto, Ontario passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021. Al was born February 27, 1928 in Brampton, Ontario. Beloved husband of the late Gloria May (July 2000). Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Margaret Laffan, his daughters Margaret, Shirley, Sandra and 9 siblings. Survived by his son John (Carol), step son Wayne (Karen) and his brother Kevin. Remembered by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends. A visitation for Al will be held Monday, November 29, 2021 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Paul O’Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E, Scarborough, ON M1R 2Y8. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Road, Toronto, ON M1K 1R1. Proof of full vaccination and Government photo identification is required. There is no limit to the number of guests that may attend. Upon entry to the funeral home guests will be required to provide their contact information for the purpose of contact tracing. Masks or face coverings are required indoors.
