Ariel J. Campbell

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother Ariel at North York General Hospital on Monday, May 27th, 2024.

Loving mother of Leslie & Peter Ward, Allen Rees & Harold Gagnon. Beloved wife of the late Jack Campbell, married for 43 wonderful years. And her loving brothers, the late Alec and John. Gramma/GG will be lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ariel was always a proud and active member of the Haliburton community, where she retired with Jack. Skating, curling, golf, exercise, book club, and bible study - to name a few. She was an avid knitter and took pride in donating her work to the Alzheimers foundation. Her warm smile could light up any room, and her laughter was contagious, bringing joy to her many friends, colleagues and acquaintances.

Her legacy of love will live on in the countless memories shared together – from baking Hello Dollies in her cozy kitchen to listening to her stories by the fireplace. In 2024, Ariel celebrated her 35th birthday with A.A. Over the years she was a loving sponsor to many along their journey.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 10th, with a memorial visitation between 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM and service to follow, at Paul O’Connor Funeral Home - 1939 Lawrence Ave. E (between Warden and Pharmacy).
