Born in Cascapedia–St Jules, Quebec, Arvil lived a long and meaningful life marked by dedication to family, hard work, and quiet generosity. He was well liked by all who knew him and an instant friend to everyone he met.
Arvil was deeply proud of his family. He was the beloved husband of Opal, his wife of 54 years, and a loving father to Colleen. Predeceased by his parents, Margaret Willet and Vincent Hall, and his ten siblings—Lillian, William (Billy), Vincent, Everett, Marie, Alice, Lorraine, Richard, Raynold, and Irby —Arvil is survived by his wife and daughter, as well as his siblings’ surviving spouses, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and their extended families.
A private person who never liked being the center of attention, Arvil requested that there be no funeral service. The family appreciates your understanding and encourages you to honour his memory in your own special way.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Arvil’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Alzheimer Society of Canada, or a charity of your choice.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered in our hearts.
