SERRETTE, Elsie Loleta – Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at the age of 83. Elsie beloved spouse of Ray. Loving mother of Malcolm (Rebecca). Granny will be fondly remembered by Isabella and Hannah. Treasured sister of Joyce, Monica and Karl. Elsie will be dearly missed by all family members and many friends. Visitation at PAUL O’CONNOR FUNERAL HOME, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E. (between Warden and Pharmacy) on Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 5 – 9 PM with prayers at 7 PM. At Elsie’s request there will not be a service. Cremation.
Elsie retired after 30 years of service to the Toronto Western Hospital and spent much of her time investing in friends and family. She enjoyed travelling, often visiting sun destinations including several trips to her home country of Barbados where she would spend time with friends and loved ones. She enjoyed going for picnics, playing cards and keeping her home in tip top shape. Elsie had a quick wit which brought joy and laughter to many around her. Her character of gratitude, compassion and forgiveness was demonstrated through-out her life.
