

Born in Dublin, Ireland on December 31, 1928, passed away in Toronto on October 18, 2021. Sean leaves his wife Ann (Coyle) of 66 years and his children Brian (Margaret), Sheila (Nikolaos) and Colm (Marie). He was predeceased by his son Sean (Tracey) in 2006. Sean will be missed by his grandchildren John (Carly), Mairead (Chris), Paul (Jess), Patrick (Abby), Roisin, Declan and George (Michelle) and great grandchildren, Molly, Maeve, Aaron John, Sofia, Nikolaos and Callie. He leaves behind his brother Larry (Irene) of Cobourg, Ontario, Pat of Wexford, Ireland and many nieces and nephews in Ireland, England, Dubai, New Zealand and Australia. Sean was predeceased by his sister Teresa Cashman and brothers Morris and Frank. Sean was raised born and raised in Sandymount, Dublin and attended school at Westland Row. He began his work career at the Irish Independent newspaper where he remained for many years. He later moved to the Creation Group in Dublin before emigrating to Canada in 1967. Sean forged a successful career in Real Estate in Toronto where he began his own company, working past his 80th year. Sean was active in the local North Bendale Community Association and was Santa visiting children in the area– they all knew Santa was Irish! A man of strong faith and convictions, Sean devoted many years to the Saint Vincent DePaul Society; he always lent a helping hand to those in need or less fortunate. Sean held knowledge and education in high regard, he travelled the world and was in awe of the people and places he visited. We thank the caregivers at Presentation Manor and Providence Healthcare in Toronto. Their kindness and dedication are an inspiration.
