Peacefully, at North York General Hospital, in Toronto. Hailing from Galway originally, Josie immigrated to Canada from Ireland and England in 1959, with her husband the late James McCaffrey. Loving mother to Aidan (Rasheeda) Bernie, Monica (Bob) and Patricia (Desmond). Cherished grandmother to Caleigh, Megan, Andrew, Josie, Connor, Danielle, Christian, John, James, Robin and Steven. Proud Great-grandmother to Sophie, Colin, Graham and Clayton. Mom was a believer in treading lightly on the planet. She worked as an RN at both Toronto General and Sick Kids Hospital. She was a role model of hard work and resilience for her children and grandchildren. Funeral mass will be Tuesday July 20th at 11 am at St Anselm’s Parish. Due to covid restrictions there may be limitations on attendance. Immediately following the Funeral Mass, we will be making our way to Mount Pleasant Cemetery for the interment.
