Lindsay, you were like a firecracker in the Health Nexus/Best Start office.  Full of energy, even sharing your energy and enthusiasm with your co-workers. Watching you do stride jumps, lunges in the office to motivate some of us to get up and move. Your love of chunky necklaces big and flashy matched your smile and spark. You left your mark on all our hearts and you made the world a brighter place.

Lindsay was an absolute FORCE. She took life at breakneck speed while somehow always managing to be grateful and in the moment. A brighter smile or a readier laugh I challenge you to find. Her girls are a credit to her.  
Matt, hold that smile and those memories close while you and the girls navigate the difficult process of building a different normal. Thinking of you all and sending light. 

When we were in the thick of the pandemic and Halloween was essentially cancelled, Lindsay took action! She organized a (socially distanced) Halloween parade for the kids in our neighborhood and asked parents to donate candy for loot bags. The parade was a huge success! Lots of laughs and smiles were shared that day and none of that would've been possible without Lindsay. Her kindness, selflessness and energy brought our Holborne community together and helped us focus on the positive! That's just who she was.

Gone but never forgotten. My thoughts are with her family during this difficult time. Sending my deepest condolences. May she rest in peace.

Lindsay, I am still so heartbroken and devastated. However I am so grateful to have been able to raise our daughters side by side over the last six years. Meeting you first online to discover we were neighbours, going on our pregnancy date and then spending countless weekends and trivia nights together. I will always remember all of these memories with so much fondness and love. You have always been an inspiration from your incredible parenting, organizational skills, decorating and DIY skills, and how you handled every challenge, including your health journey, with such strength and grace and positivity. I’m so grateful to have called you one of my closest mom friends and you will be missed so much. So much love to all of your family and friends and I promise to be there for your beautiful girls in any way I can.  I love you and your family and you will always hold a very special place in my heart.  

I had the pleasure of getting to know Lindsay both professionally and personally.  She was so full of energy, motivation, charisma and passion.  We worked together at Ophea and our work friend group would have nights out that were so much fun.  Lindsay always had great board games for us to play.   One of my favourite memories with her was attending her bachelorette party and meeting her other close friends and attending her and Matt's wedding.  Lindsay and I kept in touch over Instagram the last few years here and there.  I am so saddened by her passing and my heart goes out to her family, especially her three precious little girls.

Lindsay was a wonderful neighbor who was always smiling.  She planned  wonderful activities for the children in the neighborhood, including a memorable Halloween parade during the pandemic.  Lindsay and Matthew raised three beautiful, sweet, inquisitive, generous daughters, who always brought a smile to our faces when we would walk our dog Nova and they would chat us up so often.

I had the privilege of knowing Lindsay when she was at Health Nexus, Best Start Resource Centre. She was such an accomplished, positive and lovely person.  I particularly remember how her face lit up when she talked about her family.  She managed to balance so many parts of her life, making it all look so easy.  She was a very bright light.
 I am so very sorry for this terrible loss and send my deepest condolences to Lindsay's family.

Although we can't understand exactly how you feel, I hope these words will give you comfort.  
I have found this scripture to be encouraging. 
Revelation 21:3,4 - With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4  And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”


I had the pleasure of working with Lindsay at MGH. She was incredibly smart, but arguably more important, she was also very generous with her knowledge and wisdom. She always took the time to explain what she had learned to others so that they too could benefit from that knowledge. She was a dedicated, kind and compassionate person and we were lucky to know and have her with us at MGH. My sincerest condolences to the entire Davies and Siple families - Lindsay will be missed. 

I was very lucky to work with Lindsay for short time just before her first medical leave. As said, once she takes a challenge she finishes it, within 1 week we completed the ED patient education materials and still using. I will remember her dedication and openness. I am heartbroken to see her untimely demise.

Lindsay was always open to participating in a project that would aid patients and families to understand their health and healthcare experience. 

She and I co-wrote a response piece that offered a lay language explanation for patients and families living with persistent critical illness.  In 2021 this article was published in CMAJ by invitation. 

I have the deepest respect for Lindsay and offer condolences prayers and love to those who will continue to remember her.

I met Lindsay in high school. She was a wonderfully kind soul whom I was blessed to know. We were lucky to reconnect many years later at MGH where we caught up over lunch a few times. I am so sorry to hear of her passing and to her family, please accept my sincere condolences. 

Lindsay was su Cy a bright light and you could tell that that light was passed onto her girls! She and I went to Highschool together and played on many of the teams throughout the years. Her vivacious soul will continue to light up her girls lives! 

Lindsay was a year ahead of me at West Hill CI. She was always friendly and smiling. I remember her being involved in many school activities. 
I am so sorry to hear of her passing. Sending my deepest condolences to Matt, their daughters, and the rest of her loved ones.
