Margaret Johnston

It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Rose Marie Johnston (nee Gunn) announce her passing on Thursday July 15, 2021 in her 75th year after her brave battle with cancer. Margaret was married to Arthur, the love of her life for 36 years, who she has now joined in eternity. She was the beloved mother of Jennifer (Manny) and Ashlee (Robbie). Loving Grandmother to Olivia who loved her G-Ma very much.

Margaret will be missed by her loving brother, Tom (and the late Linda) and sister Pat (and the late Joe). She will be fondly remembered by family, friends and all that knew her. We would like to thank all doctors and nurses at Sunnybrook and Scarborough General hospitals for all their care and support over the last few months. A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held on Wednesday July 21, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a service at 2:00 p.m. at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave East, Scarborough. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Kidney Foundation.
