Marisa Grasso-passed away peacefully at North York General Hospital on Sunday, July 3, 2022 in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of Angelo. Loving mother of Anita (Michael Pozzebon) and Michael (Mira). Cherished Nonna of Mikayla, Matteo and Myles and Jacob and Daniel. Predeceased by her parents Ida and Salvatore Beltrano. Dear sister of Elio Beltrano (Sandy) and Mimmo Beltrano (Deborah). Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and support staff of 3West, the Chemo Clinic and the palliative care team at North York General Hospital. Visitation will be held at Paul O’Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Avenue East on Thursday, July 7th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church, 2210 Lawrence Avenue East on Friday, July 8th at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. If desired, donations may be made to North York General Hospital Foundation – Freeman Centre for the Advancement of Palliative Care or the Canadian Cancer Society.
