Brandi and family - I'm so sorry to hear of your Mom's  passing. I just heard yesterday from Mike. Your mother was like a mother to me. The door was always open. There was always a cup of coffee. She was a remarkable friend to everybody who met her. I will never forget her.

I was born down the street from this incredible family.  Aunt Pat took me in as her own and showed me what being a strong woman was all about.  She told me that I was powerful, my words mattered and that I should never accept anything that was not my truth. I have a bag full of buttons, yes when we used to wear them, that speak on womans rights. Aunt Pat also had reading races with me, we would devour books weekly, check off what we read and download more. Our kobos were full one week and empty the next as we read and read.  She was the only person that could call me Jenny and not make me cringe. I moved away 6 years ago and we spoke not often enough. My life is full of memories of her, I can hear her voice and her laugh in my head. She will always be with me. Huge hugs to everyone who was honoured to be touched by this incredible Woman. We are all better for her.

Brandi, Jeffrey and family my deepest condolences to you all. Your mom’s strong spirit in so many aspects of her life made her such a special woman, mother, and friend. Rest in peace my dear friend. Sue Goldenberg

Pat stood up for women’s rights long before it was fashionable. She definitely made her own path in life and did it all with a kind heart.  I have many happy memories of family dinners (Oh that Jambalaya!) and great times at the cottage. Rest in Peace dear Pat. 💗

Pat was a powerhouse who stood for and acted upon her convictions . Caring and compassionate and a positive influence  on those whose path she crossed, Pat made a difference.
