It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bob in his 96th year. He is survived by his loving wife Norma, his children Carolynne, Ted (Audrey) and Ginny; his grandchildren: Wendy (Dan), Alisia (Ross), Kevin and Elena (Brad); and great grandchildren: Jacob, Ryan, the late Connor, Hannah and Jett. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Bob parlayed his lifelong love of steam trains into a 40 year career at Canadian National Railway. Bob had many interests and loved camping, travelling around Ontario and going to Sauble Beach. In later years, he hiked and cross-country skied in many areas of the Canadian Rockies and travelled around Scotland, the European continent, Alaska, Hawaii, Australia and New Zealand.
Bob's family would like to thank the Home Palliative Care Team of The Temmy Latner Centre for their compassionate care and support.
A private interment has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at Paul O’Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. East, Scarborough.
