I met Steve, briefly, when he attended at my home for a damage assessment, mere days before his untimely passing.  It was obvious from the start that he was diligent, knowledgeable, kind and enthusiastic.   My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this most unhappy time.   May the Angels pave his way into Paradise . . .

Truly a huge and very unexpected loss. I remember the day your parents brought you home from the hospital when you were born. Childhood neighbors .  From that very day you were a huge presence in our family. Then now and always. Your presence and your voice will be forever in my heart ❤️❤️

As I stand at my kitchen window, looking out at the homes where we grew up together, my heart aches with the weight of your loss, Steve. The disbelief still lingers and the memories come rushing in. You weren’t just a neighbor you were family in every sense of the word.  As kids you, Dan, Louise and Diana practically lived at our house and I can still hear you at the door asking, “Peppy, can we have an apple, please?” Your love for Penny’s spaghetti dinners will always be a cherished memory.  We didn’t just grow up side by side we grew together—our families intertwining in ways that made us more than neighbors. You became a best friend to my brother John and my son Cody. Your presence brought joy and laughter to every visit, no matter how brief. Even as we grew older, you always found time to stop by when you were in the neighborhood, sharing your amazing stories and those many
unforgettable laughs. Your ability to turn any moment into something special was a gift to everyone who knew you.
Steve, you left us far too soon and the void you’ve left is impossible to fill. But the memories, the laughter and the love you shared will remain etched in so many hearts forever ❤️🥰❤️

We will never know why or when our time here ends the way it does. All we can hope is that we have fulfilled our dreams and left a positive impact on the people whose paths we have crossed. Judging by the countless posts and tributes to you, it’s clear you have done exactly that. You were such a light to everyone who knew you.

You became like another little brother to our family when my Mom (Penny) took it upon herself to watch over You, Dan, Louise and Diana during those early years. We were neighbours who grew into family.

As we all grew up and followed different paths in life, we always stayed connected—still family, still really good friends. I think I can speak for my entire family when I say: the world will be a little quieter without you in it….and that really sucks!

We loved you so very much, and you will be missed more than you could ever know.

This is where I should say, ‘Rest in Peace,’ but don’t do that. Keep dancing, keep talking, and keep doing all the things you loved. That’s how we will always remember you.

We will carry your laughter, your energy, and the love you brought into our lives with us always. Thank you for being such a special part of our family and for all the memories we will cherish forever. Until we meet again, keep shining your light wherever you are 😇❤️

Steve was such a light. ⭐️ He touched the lives of all who knew him. 
I will always cherish my memories of Steve. He was my buddy when I was little … played games with me, taught me things, watched out for me. I loved his big entrances at my Gramma’s…and will vividly remember his big smile, his voice, his hugs; his teasing, his speeding in and out of the driveway blaring music in his black Alero, his endless stories … and how he always showed he cared by asking questions and being truly interested in how everyone was doing. That’s a big deal. Steve was one of a kind. He will be missed terribly. It doesn’t feel right to talk about Steve in the past tense… he was such a big presence. 
I know my whole family is feeling his loss in some way. He was too young. He was too special to leave us so soon. We all loved him dearly. 😢
I think for sure my Gramma (Penny) definitely called him an asshole when he arrived up there.. and snapped “what are you doing here!?”
She has likely already told him he talks too much or asked “do you ever shut up?” 🥹 The only part that gives me peace is thinking that Steve is reunited with his mom and dad, Jamie, uncle Matt, grandpa, gramma and everyone else he loved that left before him.
Forever and ever in my heart. ❤️ love you always Steve.

Dear Diana and family,  may the fond memories of your brother Steve bring you comfort during this difficult time. My heart goes out to you and your family. I am so very sorry and deeply saddened for your loss. Sending you love, strength and healing prayers.
