Daddy, you are an angel in human flesh. Ever since i know you as an uncle, you never cease to play an important fatherly role in my life. Thank you for all you do especially in my family. I wish human don't age or dies, i will love to have you around forever. I am missing you, my wife misses you, my kids are still asking why did grandpa go to heaven, when is he coming back. The tears in my heart never stops.  I still remember our conversation on that Sunday that preceded your passing. I remember the instructions and courage. In your word ''Biodun you are a man, i may not attend the next Doctor's appointment'', i never knew you were saying goodbye, my kids were waiting to hear and see grandpa on the video call only to receive the sad news. Your memory will linger forever. You are a special being full of love. I am assured you are in paradise with our Lord Jesus. Continue to rest in the Bossom of our Lord Jesus till we meet in paradise. Since i known you as an Uncle, you never stop playing the role of a father in my life and family. If i want to write about you, it will be a very long epistle. I have the assurance that you will be in paradise with our Lord Jesus. Tears never stop flowing in my heart since you slept in the Lord. I will greatly miss you, my wife misses you, my kids keep asking why did grandpa go to heaven, is he coming back?. The way you answer phone calls keep ringing in my mind "Thank you for calling may God bless you " this always add a joyful tone to my days. I still remember our conversation on that last Sunday preceding your demise, those instructions and the courage you gave me ''Biodun you are a man i may not go for my next Doctor's appointment'' i never knew you were saying goodbye.  Adieu Popsy, till we meet at Jesus feet. Continue to sleep in the Bossom of our Lord.

You were celebrated while alive, and will be celebrated even in your passing,  just as you wanted. I know you are resting in peace now and I am grateful that in your final days I was able to thank you for everything you did for me throughout my life. I remember all you said after I poured my heart out with tears was, "To God be the Glory. All thanks belongs to God". Thank you very much for helping me become the family man I am today. You didn't only raise me as a son but because you led by example, you also helped me raise a family so I can pass your legacy down to the next generation. Because of you being a father to me it changed the narrative of a STEP FATHER to a STEPPED-UP FATHER.

A letter to you Pops (Stepdad).  You were more than what the word Stepdad implies.

Everyone that I have come to know as friends 
business associates, and acquaintances here in Canada is all because of you Dad. I owe everthing I achieved here In Canada to you.

You were a father to me and made me who I am today because of the sacrifices you made for me and my siblings. You will be dearly missed. I will miss seeing the big smile on your face everytime you called my name "UYI BABA" . It always filled my heart with so much joy.

You have taught me so much from day one to be the man that I am today. Daddy, I will forever remain grateful for all that you did for me. I still remember you driving me to different colleges/universities looking for admission when I first came to Canada almost two decades ago so I could continue my studies here. I have now fulfilled all of that and more in life because of the sacrifices you made.

I have so many memories of the wonderful Christmas dinner parties at the house with the family. You never wanted anything in return, even when I asked you what you wanted you mostly refused, and told me not to worry. But I remember with so much love and appreciation, you would call me and my wife and read out over the phone  every word on the birthday, holiday and Christmas cards we gave to you.

The positive impact you had in this world went far beyond your family. You also sacrificed yourself for many others. You were selfless and had a very big heart, which is why some folks call you "BIG DADDY!" You heard stories on your last birthday of people saying how you would come daily to look after their kids and change their kids' diapers when they needed that support. Taking neighbours grocery shopping because they didn't have a car or couldn't drive, and dropping groceries for other folks at their doorssteps because you felt they were in need.

Papa bunmi, a great man with a good sense of humour. Thank you for everything and encouraging me to do better and be better. I love and miss you. Continue to rest peacefully 

We will dearly miss our neighbour Timmy.  We have known Timmy for 23 years and he was such a ray of sunshine, always smiling and always caring about how we are doing and always there to help or visit you because he is worried about you.  Every time I saw Timmy he would say “Where is my Philippe” with a beautiful smile. We loved Timmy and have fond memories of him working on his multiple cars, him riding his bicycle to work at the hospital, multiple neighborhood gatherings and street garage sales and of him wearing his beautiful clothes to Church on Sundays. Our deepest sympathies to Mary, Grace and family. Know that we are here for you.  

May you rest in peace my friend, God has an smiling Angel by his side now!

You welcomed us to the Woodmount neighborhood 27 years ago and we’ve loved you and the whole Oshunrinde family ever since. A friend to all who lived in the hood. Known for his eclectic Sunday traditional attire, Always greeting  you with a smile and hello. (Usually in song 🎶) Always willing to help or lend a hand. Always a kind word - for everyone. A man of deep faith…….Just a really nice man (human being) who had a great sense of humor (especially about himself) ……especially about his many cars….his driving 😉 Timmy you will be very missed by all of us.

Our deepest condolences to Mary, Grace and the rest of the Oshunrinde family. You remain in our thoughts and prayers. We are right next door if you need anything.

I MET TIMOTHY  1989 KNOWN HIM FOR 33 YEARS AT TORONTO EAST GENERAL HOSPITAL.  SITTING  AT THE WORKBENCH ON BREAKS.  SHARED A LOT OF FOND MEMORIES, HE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT CALLED ME  ONCE EVERY WEEK SINCE I RETIRED IN JANUARY 2008. WE HAD GREAT LAUGHS ON OUR CHATS. TIMOTHY WAS A TRUE LOYAL FRIEND NOT JUST A CO-WORKER.  WE PRAYED TOGETHER GAVE HIM A BLESSING OF THE SICK. WHEN I FOUND OF HIS ILLNESS, MY HEART IS BROKEN HE HAS LEFT THIS WORLD . HE WAS A VERY TRUE FRIEND. I WILL MISS OUR CHATS  TOGETHER ,AND WILL MISS HIM DEARLY A LOT. 
MAY THE LORD JESUS REST YOUR SOUL TIMOTHY FOREVER.
