Angela Macaluso

Angela Macaluso died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday May 19, 2019 after an extended illness. Angela Gentile was born and raised in the Bronx. Angela was an administrative assistant to the Director of Engineering at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx NY for more than a decade. There she met her husband of 25 years, Frank Macaluso. Soon after marriage they moved to the Town of Eastchester. She paused her career to raise her children. She was active in Immaculate Heart of Mary RC Church in Scarsdale where she taught CCD classes for six years. When she was ready to return to work she earned her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education at Lehman College. She then taught in the New Rochelle School District. Angela is survived by her husband Frank, her children Peter and Stefanie, her mother Rose, her sister Pauline and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father Andrew, her twin sister Carmela and her brother George.

In lieu of flowers Angela requested donations be made to Hospice of Westchester, Einstein-Montefiore Center for Cancer Care B.O.L.D Program, or your favorite charity.
