old. She was born on February 5, 1928 to Robert and Anna Woodbury in
Mount Vernon, where she was raised. She married her loving husband,
Wilson G Price at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon in 1953.
Mr. Price died on April 15, 1989. She is survived by her sons Wilson,
Kevin and Geoffrey (Arlene) and by her three grandchildren, Wilson,
Courtney and Gordon. She was predeceased by a son, Robert in 1997. In
addition to spending time with family, Barbara enjoyed reading, playing
bridge and mahjong and spending time at her cottage on Hen Island.
Visiting hours will be at Edwin L Bennett Funeral Home in Scarsdale on
Friday, January 6, 2017 10 am-12:30 pm, followed by a funeral service at
12:30 pm. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery,
Hastings-on-Hudson. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to
The Salvation Army or The American Heart Association.
